Some more random photos:
Across the MakerShed there's a tent and it's packed. As I near it I see it's a Swap-O-Rama tent. I never been to one. I'm curious to see what they mean with Swap-O-Rama. I go in and there's people everywhere. Some are sewing while others are making silk-screen T-shirts. Tables full of clothing scattered about and people going through them. Workshops along the walls showing people to sew, combine and create new designs and learning to use the sewing machine.

Trina Brielle teaches Knitting and shows how to recycle using plastic grocery bags. The photos below shows some of her creative designs.

She inspired me a while back so much that I made my own water bottle holder and I tried to make a purse but it morphed into a hat using non-traditional materials:

I'm happy that I met her and had a chance to chat. I don't know how to knit yet but when I get a chance I'll plan on attending her class.

Near by I met Heather Harris an artist and photographer. She explained how
her paintings are designed. She prints an imagine that she then extends it's borders via metal frame which she puts together. Here she is standing infront of her work and behind her workbench.

Finally, Ron and I returned to Jamie Rood's artwork. Jamie's artwork is
eye catching and today he did a demonstration on how to stretch a canvas. See video:
As it turns out both Jamie and Heather are members of the Art of Texas.
We loved his work so much that we bought three artworks. This one below we have hanging at Ron's office above his computer.
Hope you enjoyed the photos and videos.
Maybe I'll see you at the 2009 Austin Maker Faire.
Til next time, enjoy making new things. ;-)
